Trees

How perfect is this huge tree! The branches are so massive that some are actually chained up to the trunk. My children would love this in the backyard!

I have been playing :) I never really know how far to take photoshop... It is a very personal thing. Do you want traditional, modern, arty, vintage etc... It is fun to play though.

Stables

This is a beautiful part of Saumarez, unfortunately time was against us and the plans I had in my head just couldn't happen. I do love this shot though! The girls were alot of fun!

Chris & Shannyn's Wedding

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Shannyn and Chris's Wedding. The ceremony was at Saumarez Gardens, a National Trust Building near Armidale, it was the most beautiful setting. (Stay tuned for pics, coming soon!)
I had only met Shannyn once before to 'talk shop', but through the power of Facebook got to know her a bit more. She did a fantastic job and the day went very smoothly.

This is Maddi, the cutest flowergirl and so well behaved! :)

Baby Alice

I love this shot!
Alice was just 2 weeks old... that was a month ago now...
Bec, Jared and their new baby girl, Alice are a beautiful family.
In February I get the honor of taking their wedding photos at Hat Head, sooooo excited! x

Dolphin Watching

While we were on the beach getting some group shots Rick spotted a Dolphin. Turned out that there were 4 swimming along the shore line. Of course I wasn't there to go Dolphin watching so I had the wrong lens, but that's Ok, I still got something.

Cutest girls!

These 3 flower girls were always so good when it came to having pictures taken... I have a feeling they were use to it :) Thanks girls for being so good!

Red Carpet

I have quite a few of this pose that I like, I am having trouble deciding which one is best... So I thought I would randomly pick one and post it.
Thanks Matt for helping me drag the carpet onto the beach and thanks Rick for dragging it back up!

Bomboniere

These hard lollies were the treats for each guest. Made locally in Coffs at the Big Banana. Such a great idea... I don't think I can eat mine, they look to good :)

* This neat Polaroid look can be found HERE... Sooooo easy and photoshop is not required. My only gripe is that it is highly addictive :)

Confetti

I had an opps! I wasn't aware that there was confetti to be thrown when I asked for the group photo (below). So Rick & Amy never actually walked back down the isle... This was staged by Amy's family after I took a group photo of them. Again, I love the natural colour!

Everyone!

First of Amy & Rick's wedding

I didn't know where to start with the pics... I took just on 900, that is a lot of images to sort through! I love this one of the girls collecting the confetti, it probably helps that the light was perfect!

Testing, Testing 1 2 3

Hello!
This is my very new blog, welcome :) It is a work in progress.
I hope to use this blog for my photography. As for now, watch this space!!!

Welcome

This is my little blog of Photography and Creativity.

I am by no stretch of the imagination a "professional photographer". I am just someone who loves playing with her new Nikon D90.

Each photo is a learning experience, so is every photoshop technique.

My re-discovered creative outlet is sewing. I am enjoying the quality time with my sewing machine again. If you are interested in any of the items that I have posted, send me an email or leave a comment and I will get back to you, or you can click on my Etsy store link at the side.

Please feel free to leave a comment. I would love to read your feedback. Most importantly, Thank you to the people that trust me to record the special moments in their lives. x
