Maree and Gavin
Blogger has not been very co-operative this week. I will try and load some more of Gavin and Maree's beautiful wedding tomorrow.

It has been a big few weeks in the Myhill home. Liberty turned 5 and Shawn had his first stitches... a Billycart incident, but all is well! So life gets back to normal now and I have almost finished editing Sheree and Petes wedding. So more images to come! Thanks for your patients x
* Notice what great mates the Groomsmen are! ;)

Tim McGraw
Last weekend we went on a road trip with Rach and Dean to Brisbane. I didn't think I was doing too much harm by taking my Nikon D90 into the concert. Security thought differently. I was lucky, he was quite nice and didn't ask me to delete the images. I struggle with this type of lighting so I am thrilled with the results!
Earlier in the year I caught James Taylor and Carol King on my phone... slightly different results!

Milk Thieves!
I was super excited when I discoverd I had an Etsy convo regarding my camera straps earlier this week. These 7 babies are on their way to Wollongong to (hopefully) be sold at Milk Thieves Art & Design
Some I had already made, others I made especially. I now only have 2 left in my stash, hopefully I can make some me time this weekend to sew a few more projects.

Superman!
Funny story this one....
The quick version is this.
I saw a phone booth, (very rare sight these days) and in jest asked the Groomsmen walking in front of me if any of them had their Superman suit on under their wedding suits... Well the Groom did, and he will forever be my Super Groom for humoring me while I laughed so much I cried taking these photos! Thanks Jared, you are SUPER! x

Back to Bec and Jared
Well I have spent this chilly Autumn day working on Bec and Jared's wedding pics. I am very happy with how they are coming together. The ocean makes a fantastic backdrop!
I love the image of Andy, 'giving away' his youngest daughter, the look on Bec's face as she looks at her dad is beautiful!
I also want to thank everyone for all of the wonderful, complementary feedback on both my photography and sewing creations. Not many comments are left on the blog posts, but the emails, conversations and recomendations are very appreciated! It means so very much. I must say, coming into Winter and only having 2 weddings booked is rather sad. I am really loving my photography!

Martin and Nicole
Just thought I would sneak in a few pics from Martin and Nicoles wedding that I shot last Saturday. Yes, 2 weddings on consecutive weekends!
I had to share the balloon image with you...how fantastic do they look! The Bridesmaids wore Chocolate Brown, so scattered on the table were coffee beans! Nicole has a great mind for detail!
I will be back tomorrow with a few more, then Wednesday I will be back with more of Bec and Jared's wedding... sorry to have kept you waiting.

Bec & Jared
This past weekend I had the pure joy of photographing 2 of the most beautiful people on their wedding day. Matt's Neice Bec, and her now husband, Jared. It was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect!
This was the first image I took, this is just how I found them. :)
I am still working through the images that I took, I will load some as I edit.

Crayon bags.
I LOVE these bags! I always grab Liberty's when we are heading out to dinner or I am going somewhere where I know I will need a few minutes without her chatting :) They keep her occupied for so long! Even Shawn, who is 9, wanted one...
These were the first bags I made. I gave some as gifts over Christmas and I also sold a few. I do a few variations of these, but for now these are the only ones I have. Included is the notebook and BIC Kids Crayons. $15 each.
If you are interested in a crayon bag, let me know for what age, boy or girl and I will let you know what I can come up with. :)
Pink and Black!
This one is my newest creation. The pink is so yummy, it feels so good! Just for fun it has 3 pleats, just to add to the texture. The main photo didn't show this so I took a close up. The Pink and Black tote is $20 and measures approx 35x32 cm. the handles are thick and approx 32cm long.
The beautiful blue tote is made from soft backed curtain fabric. It is so lightweight, but sturdy. I really love this fabric! this tote is approx 40x33cm with long straps approx 66cm and a vintage doily for character! This tote is only $15.

This is my little blog of Photography and Creativity.
I am by no stretch of the imagination a "professional photographer". I am just someone who loves playing with her new Nikon D90.
